Prize Redemption

Prizes were given out to those people who encountered me in person over the course of the weekend, including one's choice of a sticker (pictured previously), mystery grab bag, or Happy New Year hat as well as project information handouts and scavenger hunt checklists.

However, I didn't encounter anyone doing the scavenger hunt later in the day on Sunday, so no one was able to claim any of the major prize "I Found Jennifer Weigel" buttons.  And since the BBQ didn't happen, opportunities to trade answers were much less likely and people couldn't claim prizes then.

Thus I will offer the color button & magnet sets to the first 20 people who contact me who found 12 or more of the disguised identities, and black & white buttons to everyone who participated by finding more than one of them, while supplies last.

To redeem a prize please email me at jennifer (at) jenniferweigelart.com for further instructions.

Starting in July, I will be posting the disguises that were chosen, one a day for 50 days, so please be sure to check back to see all of the pictures.

Sunday Studios

Sunday I continued to find myself as I visited another 20+ artists at 11 more venues, mostly outside the city limits.  I even posed for my own currency, the Weigel.

Saturday Studios

Here are some highlights from my studio tour on Saturday.  I visited 30+ artists at 12 venues throughout the city and almost everywhere I went I found myself!  How well do you know these St. Louis artists' studios & spaces?  See if you can guess where these photos were taken...

Kickoff Party

Here are a couple of pictures from the kickoff party of me in my ensemble for the weekend, complete with "You Found Me!" signboard.

It's the moment you've been waiting for: the release of the official cheat sheet of participating artists!  Cheating is not only expected, but encouraged... so follow this guide for a better idea of where to hunt, and trade answers with other hunters.  The only thing I find uncool of is intentionally misguiding one another with wrong answers, otherwise it's all fair game.

Sneak Peek at Presentation

In case you are wondering just what you'll be looking for, here's a sneak peek of Incognito as framed...  All of the works are presented exactly the same both for consistency's sake and so they'll be easy to identify once you know what you're looking for.

Scavenger Hunt is coming...

This year will be my biggest open studios project yet!  I am gearing up for another audience-participatory, interactive, mobile project - a Scavenger Hunt!  I've donned over 100 disguises in a huge photo shoot, and selected photographs will be displayed in fellow artists' studios so that those attending the event can find them.  Prizes for those who identify my disguised identities and find myself in person!

I will be promoting and documenting this project on this blog, so please check back for more information.  Since open studios is so widespread this year, I plan to cross-promote the participating artists here so that you can get an insider tip as to where to hunt for me.  I will also be posting the checklist, identity teasers, previews of the prizes and maybe even some of the studios, and more.  And after the event, I will post all of the selected photos and possibly a few highlights from those that weren't picked!
